BEST-SELLING AUTHOR OFFERS WRITER’S WORKSHOP TO STUDENTS AT HYDE SCHOOL: On Sunday, October 30, 11-time best-selling author Douglas Preston worked with students on Hyde’s Bath campus in an intensive writing workshop. The class will continue through April for motivated juniors and seniors interested in submitting their work for publication and completing a major work of poetry, screenplay, novel, novella, play, or memoir. HYDE LEADERSHIP SOCIETY HOSTS SPEAKER ON CHARACTER’S ROLE IN BUSINESS: As part of its ongoing speaker series for students participating in the Hyde Leadership Society, Hyde-Bath hosted Richard Preece, Senior Vice President at Franklin Templeton Investments. Preece’s presentation, “How Leadership Characteristics Are Valued In Business” was webcast to the community. Students learned about how Hyde’s Five Principles are essential to success in any field.
