It might have been the bright yellow t-shirts or the charisma of the Voice of Hyde, Susie Racine, or a combination of factors, but…

…it probably had more to do with the efforts of Hyde alumni Sam Tobis ’07 Woodstock, Jake Aaron ’07 Woodstock, and team!

A Hyde parent writes:
" I taught a knitting workshop during Hyde Parent Academy, a week when parents come to campus to share their professional expertise with students and faculty. My prize knitting student turned out to be a senior on the varsity wrestling team. I understand he has been bringing his knitting to school meetings – Only @ Hyde!"

We believe there are no other schools that offer the wide range of exceptional programming that Hyde does. Our programs offer valuable resources for families enrolled at Hyde as well as families nationwide.

For parents and grandparents that need practical tips on ways to improve their parenting skills, The Biggest Job® has helped thousands of parents learn more effective ways to raise families of strong character.

The Hyde Wilderness Program, located on Hyde's Black Wilderness Preserve property in Eustis, Maine, is the perfect place for students and families to experience spectacular views and catch glimpses of abundant wildlife, while they learn the value of facing awesome outdoor challenges.

Summer Challenge is for teenagers, ages 14 - 18, who are looking for fun and challenging experiences. This summer program for teens blends thrilling outdoor experiences with a dynamic character development program in which teens have the opportunity to connect with the positive influences that will drive them toward reaching their highest potential.

Experiential sums up what Hyde’s Summer X is all about. Students may find themselves hammered by high-altitude wind and rain, rocked by the Atlantic Ocean’s waters, and balancing themselves on the peaks of some of New England’s highest mountains. Despite all of that, participants say it is by far one of the most exciting and exhilarating experiences of their lives. (For Current Hyde Students Only)
